At Relational Data Systems (RDS), we specialise in managing partner cloud platforms with a strong focus on hosting business-critical applications. Since 2020, our AWS SysOps team has expanded to over 20 AWS specialists, to deliver high-quality, secure solutions for survey, planning, land titling, valuation, and utilities clients.

The QISMS is externally audited annually and certified against the ISO9001 Quality Management and ISO27001 Information Security Management standards.


Who We Serve:
The RDS Managed Service offering is focused on Australian based government clients, covering local, state and federal levels. Our client profile includes:

  • Land Registry Service Providers - users of specialist lands title registry and valuation roll management solutions, across clients in SA, WA, ACT and NT.
  • Utility Organisations: Specialist support for utility operations teams, enabling them to analyse, predict, and publish utility network performance. Our team has extensive experience in establishing and managing these workloads within a heavily regulated utility environment.

Customer Engagement and Delivery Approach:
RDS engages with customers through utilising our mature Solution Delivery Method.
This method involves two primary phases:

  1. Discovery Phase: We work to understand our customers’ requirements, define the architecture runway to achieve the clients’ goals and establishes an executable plan for implementation. This phase also provides clients with insight into the cost and duration required for the implementation phase.
  2. Implement Phase: We focus on delivering outcomes through a series of contained iterations and close collaboration with key stakeholders. Each iteration contains 5 stages:
  • Define: Creating the backlog for an implementation project and representing the backlog grooming process required at the beginning of each iteration.
  • Build: Representing the build tasks of an iteration, which include development, configuration, and infrastructure tasks.
  • Test: Conducting integration and user acceptance testing of the backlog items built in the iteration.
  • Showcase: Demonstrating the deliverables completed and tested in the iteration to ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • Release: Releasing completed and business accepted feature capabilities to a targeted environment in the system landscape.

Customer engagements are managed through our dedicated RDS Client Engagement Team, who oversee the customer experience from initial engagement, onboarding and ongoing managed services engagement.
